Getting Started

Before braces are placed, patients must visit a dentist for an exam and cleaning and complete any necessary fillings. Patients should visit the dentist every 6 months for a thorough examination and cleaning. Before each orthodontic appointment, patients are encouraged to brush their teeth. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided in the office.

Convenient Appointments

Your appointments are scheduled to fit your busy lifestyle. Our staff makes every effort to accommodate each patient’s schedule. In order to help us continue to schedule efficiently, 24 hour notice is required to cancel an appointment.

Treatment Time

Treatment may last from 12 to 30 months, though this will vary depending on your individual case. Appointments are typically scheduled from 4 to 12 weeks apart. Your cooperation in keeping scheduled orthodontic appointments, maintaining proper hygiene and taking care of your braces may allow you to finish your orthodontic treatment early.

Communication

After each appointment, our dental assistant will go over with the parent or guardian what procedure was done during that appointment and will go over the status of the patient's oral hygiene and general progress.  At any time during treatment, parents and/or guardians may ask to speak to the doctor with any questions regarding treatment.  Our front desk staff will ask you to stop at the front desk if any forms or health updates need to be completed.

Cash Discount Option

A full payment prior to the initial banding appointment will result in a discount offer.

Dental Plans

We accept and file most dental plans.  Please provide us with your insurance information prior to your first appointment and we will have your benefit information ready for you at your first visit.
